Although the scale may vary from class to class the techniques employed remains consistent. The quality and workmanship does not vary. The chassis components involved are nearly identical, other than scale. The applications of geometry, tubing and fabrication are mirrored throughout.

The characteristics of handling and chassis setups are very similar. As you move up from one class to the next what you have experienced and learned remains applicable. 600rlrrt.jpg (7361 bytes) The example to the left is a Modified Midget, Micro-Midget, these are powered by 600c.c. modified motorcycle engines. You must generally be fourteen or older to race this class of car.

Note that all classes have an over-all appearance similar to full-sized Midgets and Sprint Cars. A.R.T. can provide you with a "Roller", a complete car lacking an engine. Assistance is also provided to locate different engine builders. All the spare parts; tires, wheels, shock absorbers you will need are in stock.

Again here you see a Modified Midget, the chassis of a Micro-Midget, Class 1200c.c. The shape and construction vary little from class to class, the change of scale is the obvious difference. 4130 seamless steel tubing of the highest grade combined with the TIG Welding the result is a very lightweight yet durable superstructure.

On this day and track there were only two A.R.T. built cars competing, in the 600c.c. Micro-Midget Class, finishing first and second in the A-Main Event Feature.
